![]() ![]() Video tutorials can incorporate both real-world video (for example, of a lab demonstration) and screen-based video (that is, anything that can display on your computer screen such as an image of a cell, a bar graph, or video from a movie). Video tutorials are an effective way to deliver certain kinds of course content. No prior knowledge of Camtasia or video tutorials is required. Participants will then be given time to edit and produce a video tutorial with Camtasia under the guidance of the facilitators. The presenters will then demonstrate how to use the various features in a tool called Camtasia to create, edit, and produce a video tutorial. This session will start by briefly covering best practices for video tutorials, such as their optimal length, how much time to invest in editing, whether a script is necessary, and so on.
